Togo Christmas Advent Collection

November 18, 2018 to December 9, 2018

All Day

Category: Outreach | Coordinator: Laura Kaufmann

We have begun a partnership with Amana Presbyterian Church in Togo, West Africa and are in the process of matching up 53 children from this church with individuals and families from our church.  Pastor Macklann and Rose Basse are actively involved in loving their neighbors in Lome, Togo. Pastor Macklann pastors a growing and thriving church and started Africa Missions International, an organization that trains future missionaries to plant churches and disciple Africans to care for the least among them. Rose is Principal of the New Beginnings School and they also partner with an orphanage nearby.  Pastor Macklann quotes Psalm 68:5 as a constant encouragement:  “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.”
