Wow! What an incredible installation service this past week. I am deeply grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. It was a beautiful time of worship and fellowship, made even more special as we shared a meal together. Thank you for your warm and heartfelt welcome!

As I step into this new season as your pastor, I do so with both humility and anticipation.  Our road ahead holds opportunities as well as challenges. We have the opportunity to grow in love, to walk in faithfulness, and to witness God’s work among us. Over the next three months, I want to invite us to meditate together on three key biblical themes that will shape our journey: unity, mission, and hope.

April: Unity
Jesus prayed for His followers “that they may all be one” (John 17:21). Unity in the church is not about uniformity, nor is it about avoiding hard conversations. Instead, it is about a shared love for Christ that binds us together in the midst of our differences. As we navigate change and renewal, how can we cultivate a spirit of unity? This month, we will explore what it means to bear with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2), to pursue reconciliation where needed, and to find strength in our shared identity as the body of Christ.

May: Mission
The church is not just a gathering place; it is a sent people. Jesus commissioned His disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Our church exists not for itself, but for the glory of God and the good of the world. How can we rekindle our passion for God’s mission? In May, we will reflect on how each of us, in our unique callings, plays a role in God’s redemptive work—whether in our neighborhoods, workplaces, or across the world.

June: Hope
Hope is what sustains us when the path is unclear. In a world marked by uncertainty and brokenness, we are called to be a people of hope—a hope that is not wishful thinking but is anchored in the promises of God. As we enter the summer, we will meditate on the living hope we have in Christ (1 Peter 1:3) and consider how we can be agents of hope to one another and to our community.

I invite you to pray with me as we embark on this journey together. May God grant us grace to walk in unity, boldness to live on mission, and confidence to trust in the hope we have in Christ. I look forward to seeing how He will lead us in the months ahead.

Grace and peace to each of you
