The Bible tells us that, as God's people, we are called to be holy. We are reminded of this calling in 1 Peter 1:13-25. Verses 15-16 say, "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'" At the ACC after-school tutoring program a few weeks ago Pastor David casually mentioned to me that he and Sobeyda were going to be hosting a refugee family from El Salvador. My heart jumped with excitement...what an opportunity for ACC to show the love of God!
