Wednesdays (10 weeks):

Intermediate Class: 7:30PM to 8:45PM (from Sep. 16 to Nov. 18, 2009)

Saturdays (10 weeks):

Beginners Class:10AM to 11AM (from Sep. 19 to Nov. 21, 2009)

Intermediate Class: 11:30AM to 12:30 (from Sep. 19 to Nov. 21, 2009)

Advanced Conversation Class: 12:30AM to 1:30PM (from Sep. 19 to Nov. 21, 2009)

As you walk the streets of Astoria and see the many nationalities and hear languages it will come as no surprise to you that over 120 nationalities live in Astoria and 65% of our households speak a language other than English at home.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry seeks to teach English to first generation immigrants in our neighborhood to help them acclimate to our culture and provide more opportunities for their life, education and work here in America.

This is a simple way that the church can show God's love in a tangible way. Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Ministry Purpose:

The English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry seeks to share the love of Jesus Christ as we teach English and help acculturate first generation immigrants in our neighborhood.
